This page contains a report on the meeting held by the ABD at Mycenae House, Greenwich on the 22nd September 2007. Over 50 people attended the meeting, including the press and a BBC camera crew. A number of borough councillors were present, but only from the Conservative and LiberalDemocrat parties. A vote taken during the meeting showed a large majority opposed to any congestion charge or toll in Greenwich (by about 45 to 5 - there were clearly some people who had attended the meeting with preconceived ideas about the "benefits" of congestion charges and who were intent on ignoring the evidence presented to them). A copy of the powerpoint presentation given at the meeting is present as a pdf document in the following file: Greenwich_Road_Tolls2
